How can I support my child's well-being?


Individuals surrounding the child should be alert to any warning signs and should support the child's mental and emotional well-being.

Ways to support the child are:

- 👂🏽Listen: ask the child how he or she is doing, what is bothering them. Making conversations about their feelings normal and routine to build confidence with their emotions.

- 🍾 Support: if you see signs of difficulty, try to help him/her cope by showing support and reaching out to others including his/her teachers.

- 👏🏽 Encourage: take an interest in what the child likes, sports, hobbies etc. Talk to them about what is important to them and show them your support. It is important to show the child that you care and that they are important.


In addition to all this advice, it is important to live a healthy life: a balanced diet and regular physical activity.
